Early Morning – Getting Started
The day begins before sunrise, as I arrive at M and M Heating, AC, Plumbing & Electrical’s headquarters. After a quick review of the day’s service schedule, I load up my truck with essential parts and tools we commonly need for heating and cooling repairs.
Morning Rounds
My first calls are typically preventive maintenance appointments in Dacono. These early checks are crucial because they help homeowners avoid major system failures during extreme weather. I inspect:
• Heating system components
• Filter conditions
• Thermostat functionality
• Safety controls
• Electrical connections
Afternoon Emergency Calls
After lunch, I usually handle more urgent service calls. Today included:
• A furnace that wouldn’t start
• An older heating system making unusual noises
• A routine heating maintenance appointment
• A thermostat replacement
Evening Wrap-Up
Before heading home, I ensure my service vehicle is restocked for tomorrow’s calls. Documentation is completed for each job, and I communicate with our office about any follow-up appointments needed.
